Finland Anniversary

  By Visit Finland

You may want a big birthday celebration. A happy wedding anniversary, or have another big day that's special for you and your nearest and dearest.

Finland is a unique setting to celebrate good times. We can also organise a holiday of a lifetime for a larger group.

Finland has so much to offer, winter and summer - from summer with its lovely solstice Midnight Sun to winter - with plenty of activities, as well as very peaceful settings to simply relax in.

The capital Helsinki is home to the fashionable Design District and diverse museums. There's a busy shopping district and a popular market. Dining out includes waterfront bistros and it's famous for its vibrant night life.

Or you can explore the wonderful countryside. The Northern Lights can be seen from the country's Arctic Lapland province. In face, there are 40 National parks. Linnanmaki is an amusement park in Helsinki with over 50 rides and a tower with wonderful panoramic views. And as it was created to raise funds for child welfare, your visit will be remembered by others too. The breathtaking Nuuksio National Park spreads over an area of forests and lakes. And Levi is famous for its winter ski slopes. And let us not forget the famous Moomin World, children will love it!

In the beautiful landscape of Kuhmo, you'll find many exciting winter activities like snowshoeing, ice-fishing, husky, reindeer or snowmobile safaris, and of course skiing.

Lapland provides the ideal location for a romantic getaway or a family celebration in the wilderness. Some accomodation located deep in the Taiga forest, it's the perfect place for relaxation, Aurora Borealis viewing and winter adventures.

There's just so much to enjoy in Finland, you'll be looking for more anniversaries to celebrate.
